DAVIDSON
Tierna Davison, originally from Menlo Park, CA, joined the Red Stars in 2019 when she was selected first in the NWSL College Draft. Davidson started in 14 games, playing 1,174 minutes, and scored one goal in her inaugural season with Chicago. Davidson has been a member of the U.S. Women’s National Team since 2018 being named U.S. Young Soccer Female Player of the year. Davidson appeared in five matches during the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup Championship, and all matches during the 2020 Olympics. Davidson attended Stanford University where she was named College Cup Most Outstanding Defensive Player, College Cup All-Tournament Team, PAC-12 Defensive Player of the Year, All-PAC-12 First Team, All-Pacific Region First Team, and All-America First-Team Honor in 2017.
