WRIGHT

Arin Wright, originally from Wilmore, KY, joined the Red Stars in 2015 when she was selected eighth overall in the NWSL College Draft. That year Wright played in 19 matches, starting 17, recorded 2 assists, logged the third highest minutes for the team (1533) and was named to the NWSL Second-XI Team. The following year, Wright started in every match for the Red Stars (20) and earned a spot on the NWSL Best XI. Wright’s international experience includes a call up to the U.S. Women’s National Team camp in October of 2016, and experience with the U-20 and U-23 teams. Wright attended the University of Kentucky.
