Sarah Gorden led all Red Stars players with 73 touches throughout the game, playing a crucial role on both the defensive and offensive sides of the pitch. She finished with 45 total passes – 22 of them coming on the opposition’s side of the field. Defensively, Gorden contributed an interception and a tackle each, as well as seven total duels.
The week of firsts continued for Bianca St. Georges Saturday night. After making her Canada Women’s National Team debut earlier this week, St. Georges made her 2021 Red Stars debut after coming on in the 64th minute. She contributed 22 touches throughout the game and finished with 15 total passes and an interception defensively.
Morgan Gautrat not only scored the game-tying goal in stoppage time, but also continued her string of impressive performances in Chicago’s midfield.
