GAME NOTES
Tatumn Milazzo once again had quietly a very well put together game in her first time seeing Orlando. Milazzo led the team in touches (58), interceptions (4), and tied for the team lead in clearances. She also totaled 31 passes and a 67.7% passing accuracy rate.
Sarah Gorden prevented several Orlando attacks from taking off, having won back possession 14 times for a team lead. Gordon also had 48 touches, 42 passes and a 71.4% clip for passing accuracy.
The upcoming week for the Red Stars will see Chicago play three games in seven days, all on the road. The first road test will be next Sunday as Chicago takes on North Carolina for the second time this season, followed by Wednesday at Louisville in a game that doubles as an NWSL game and one that is part of the inaugural Women’s Cup. Chicago will then conclude their week on Saturday where they will take on either Paris Saint-Germain or FC Bayern Munich, pending the results of Wednesday’s games.
