CHICAGO, Ill. (June 26, 2021) - Former Red Stars Yuki Nagasato and Savannah McCaskill return for the first time as the Chicago Red Stars fall to Racing Louisville FC 3-0 on Saturday, June 26th.

In Casey Krueger’s probable last home match since being named an alternate for the 2020 Tokyo Games, she played the entire 90 minutes of the game. Krueger lead the team in successful duel percentage with 85.7%, 28 passes with an accuracy percentage of 75%, 47 touches, and two tackles.
Tierna Davidson was involved in Chicago’s run of play throughout the game, leading the team in touches with 75 touches. She also finished with two clearances, a tackle and interception each, and led the team in total passes with 55.
Saturday’s game was most likely the last home game for Krueger, Davidson, and Alyssa Naeher until late summer. All three, as well as trainer Emily Fortunato, were recognized at the end of the game with flowers and cards as they will travel to Tokyo for the Summer Games along with Julie Ertz who is still recovering from an injury sustained earlier in the season.
