CHICAGO (March 2, 2021) — The Chicago Red Stars have announced the following updates to their 2021 National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) preseason roster.
The roster features 32 players including 25 contracted players, a 2021 NWSL College Draft Selection, and 6 Non-Roster Invitees.
The 2021 NWSL Preseason will feature the return of the groundbreaking NWSL Challenge Cup. The league’s Medical Task Force has approved play in home markets for the 2021 NWSL Challenge Cup set to begin on April 9, 2021. Full details on the Challenge Cup format and the complete regular season schedule will be released at a later date.
